Kobe Bryant...Sports Legacy Research Defined

Kobe Bryant's death along that of his 13-year old daughter, Gianna, with seven other travelers has been a major topic of discussion this week. According to the Los Angeles Times everyone on this fatal helicopter were considered, "mothers, fathers, daughters and coaches."

Kobe Bryant  retired from the NBA after an outstanding career with the Los Angeles Lakers.  This future NBA Hall of Famer will be the topic of many books and journals.  If you need help in gathering some resources to help you with this project, the Librarians at Logue Library will gladly help you with this endeavor.

Chinese New Year - History & Culture



Chestnut Hill College is celebrating the 2020 Chinese New Year, the "Year of the Rat" from January 24th to January 30th.  There will be holiday food, traditional dancing - even a Chinese Dragon and festivities on campus this week.

"Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Historical Perspective"

Dr. Martin Luther King's annual holiday on the third Monday in January is about to approach us all in the Chestnut Hill College Community.  However, Logue Library would like to focus on the Historical Perspective of  Dr. King's of his legacy.

There have been so many authors throughout the world who have taken the time to get a pen, paper, typewriter or computer to create a book that reflects this historical figure.
