Happy National Teachers' Week 2021!

The first week of May celebrates the recognition of Teachers Appreciation in our lives.  From Pre-K to College, these individuals work effortlessly to educate students for the importance of learning new topics while they gain knowledge on various topics of interests.   The National Parents Teachers Association (PTA) theme this year is "#Thank an Teacher."

President Joe Biden, issued on April 30, 2021 A Proclamation on National Teacher Appreciation Day and National Teacher Appreciation Week, 2021.  He stated that, “Every one of us has been shaped by someone who inspired our curiosity and helped us find our confidence, who guided us to think more clearly and pushed us to strive for better.”

Convinced that capable educators are the key to the future of society, Chestnut College offers a variety of Education programs, both Graduate and Undergraduate, to prepare fine teachers for the future.  Not only can students major in Education(Pre-K, Special Education and Secondary Education) but they can also earn a degree in Early Education with Montessori Specialization.
